University City Boulevard (UCB) is a grounbreaking new public realm improvement and regeneration project in the heart of Sharjah’s university area that is currently under construction. Place Dynamix were appointed to design a concept and then take this through to schematic, detailed and IFC designs. Place Dynamix’s design is focused on delivering a pedestrian-dominant environment, increasing cycle connectivity, delivering shade across the site and creating an attractive landscape to improve visual amenity and the setting of the existing buildings.
